Efficiency and speed are two important things that business owners want for their business. Technology in business can certainly make things simpler and faster for business owners but they have to be very selective when it comes to technology because only few technologies are simple and accurate and they provide better options. Business owners today are constantly looking for better technology and ideas that can help them concentrate on different things rather than focusing on same old business documentation procedure. Ricoh is the world leader in digital office equipment and they are well known for their office documentation services.

In one of the Ricoh global announcement event the company decided to share their future plans and they said that Ricoh will now invest $300 million to their already popular Managed Document Services (MDS) that allows various companies to handle their documentation services. Ricoh announced that this will definitely help the companies to perform better as they can improve their workflow. The company also announced that they had done a research with IDC where they found out that many new companies are looking for such office documentation services. According to Angele Boyd, IDC Group Vice President and General Manager, Imaging/Output Document Solutions and SMB smaller companies that invest $250 million will now be able to save up to $6 million with the new plans by Ricoh.

Ricoh also went ahead and shared information about their new research in partnership with IDC that many companies are already aware of the document and information workflow issues but they don't have the right way to resolve it. Ricoh announced that as per their expertise the lack of consolidation of observed and unobserved costs and low level of awareness of executives about office document management could be the reasons behind why these companies are not able to cut down their company costs.

Shiro Kondo, President and CEO of Ricoh Company said that the new investment plan will definitely help their customers to perform better with their clients and it will also help Ricoh to cover up the expected annual targets of $3.3 billion by the end of financial year 2013.
